UNIX Pages

Welcome to my UNIX Pages. Here are some tips and tricks that I have found. Also I will post command combinations that I have found useful. All of these tips have been tested on Mac OS X.2.6, based on BSD. These tricks should work with other flavors of unix as well.

You will be seeing text preceeded by a '%' (percent character) a lot. This text is the text you enter into the command line and it will look like typewriter text. Also, example output, from the command line, will also have this font, without the '%' character preceeding the text.

If you have any tips or combos, or subjects you would like to hear about, email them to me. Have fun!
